Wearing: KOOGAL Turquoise Maxi Prom dress/ Handmade Orchid
We were so fortunate to attend a true Balinese wedding and it was unlike anything I have experienced before. The wedding has three parts: the ceremony, the reception and the 3 day home arrest for the bribe and groom.
I honestly didn't know what to wear to the wedding as I have never attended one so I opted for this cute turquoise wedding guest dress, to be safe as you don't want to overdress or under-dress on occasions like this. I was so glad that I wore this maxi dress for the day. Not only it made me feel so amazing, the beautiful turquoise color complimented my skin tone completely, it was super cool and breezey (thanks to the backless detail and the absorbent fabric).
I love the cross-back style of my flowy maxi dress a lot as being flat-chested, I often choose to elaborate my back rather than my front and this dress has done the job really well.
I did however changed to a traditional Balinese costume later on and loved the contrasting bright color so much.
On the way back to our hotel in Kuta, we stopped at a beautiful lake on the mountain called lake Beratan and the view was surreal. I loved everything this place has to offer: the fresh air, the blue sky, the crystal clear water, the sun-kissed warmth and the cool breeze...
